EastEnders fans watched Lily Slater decide to keep her baby after finding out she’s pregnant at 12 years old.
Lily (Lillia Turner) had been thinking about what the best option was after it was revealed she was expecting a baby, and while Martin Fowler (James Bye) was adamant she should have an abortion, Stacey (Lacey Turner) wanted her to make her own decision.

The youngster initially made the decision that she was going to have an abortion, but she had second thoughts on the morning of her appointment and has now decided to have her baby.
Martin is set to leave the soap for a brief time while James Bye takes paternity leave, and fans are adamant this is the prime opportunity for a familiar face to return.
Sharing their thoughts in a Facebook EastEnders fan group, one person said they believe Martin’s paternity leave will bring back Ryan Malloy to support his daughter in her time of need.
As users rushed to share their theories, one person said: “I Think it’s time for a Ryan return, Martin will hate it though because Ryan is biological dad of Lily and as soon as Ryan starts being there Martin won’t like it, which is fair as Martin has basically brought Lily up.”
Another said: “Ryan should come back! I miss him,” while another said: “Whitney is his sister so he may come back for that and she spoke about him recently as he sent money for Lily.”
Meanwhile others think Martin’s exit could be a prime opportunity for Max and Lauren Branning to return as Jack faces his own challenge with his son Ricky Jr being the father of Lily’s baby.
Ryan has been away from the soap for many years but had a brief return in 2014 and 2016 as he attended Whitney’s wedding to Lee Carter in 2016.
His last long stint in the show took place in 2011 but he left Albert Square after he was implicated in Grayson’s death.
Ryan was sent to prison but was released soon after due to lack of evidence, but he has remained in the country ever since, just far from Walford.
It’s been seven years since Ryan last set foot in Albert Square – with Lily aged just five-years-old, but fans are hopeful that her challenges could prompt his return.
