EastEnders Reiss sinister past 'exposed' as dark confession leaves BBC viewers worried

EastEnders fans are convinced the usually mild mannered Reiss Clowell is hiding a very dark past.

As viewers tuned in to watch Rocky and Kathy’s marriage storyline develop, Kathy was stunned as Jo barged in to No.45 followed by a guilty Rocky and all hell broke loose.

Kathy kicked him out and he fled to Sonia’s where Reiss shared some words of encouragement and tried to convince her that “everyone has a dark past”.

Another asked: “What are you lying about Reiss.”

A third echoed: “what’s reiss looking all sus about,” as a fourth added: “Now what dark dastardly secret background will Reiss eventually reveal?”

Kathy reunited with Rocky but warned him their relationship was over if he lied once more.

As the pair headed to The Vic they were greeted by a drunken Jo who refused to sign the divorce papers but she soon realized it was a hopeless battle.

As a final twist of the knife, Jo pretended to hand over the signed papers to a stunned Rocky and Kathy before she left but it turned out she hadn’t signed them.

Sonia and Reiss discussed the situation with Kathy and Rocky with both sympathizing with the other person.

With Reiss’ words ringing true, Sonia headed over to Kathy’s to try and convince her to give Rocky another chance.

Having been touched by Reiss’ actions, she invited him to visit Bangkok to meet Bex, but Reiss wasn’t convinced by the idea and he explained he couldn’t afford it.

Sonia wasn’t fazed by his reaction but later Reiss retreated to the hallway to make an unknown call requesting to speak to his wife…

Elsewhere, after a hugely successful fundraiser, Lola asked Emma to join her and Lexi’s girly night in.

Emma awkwardly declined the offer, which raised alarm bells with Jay who feared that Emma was unable to cope with Lola’s declining health.

Jay confronted Emma before she drowned her sorrows in The Vic and opened up about her mom-guilt with Sam.

Later, Emma lied and revealed to a devastated Lola that she had been offered a job in America.

Lola saw straight through this and after some harsh words ordered Emma out of her life.
