Elton John is ready to rock Britain for the last time as he plays his final ever show at Glastonbury on Sunday night (July 2).
The 76-year-old Rocket Man singer will bid Brits goodbye when he headlines Glastonbury’s iconic Pyramid Stage, because it’s the final UK date on his farewell tour.
His Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour has become the highest-grossing tour of all time, earning £649.1million from its eight legs and 278 concerts.

It might leave fans wondering just how many stacks the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer is now sitting on, especially since he’s bagged himself over fifty top-40 hits and the US Billboard Hot 100.
He’s one of the best-selling artists of all time 300million records sold around the globe, and his 1997 tribute single to the late Princess Diana, Candle in the Wind, became the best-selling chart single ever with 33million copies.
It’s no surprise, then, that he rakes in millions, but you still might not believe your eyes when you see just how much the piano pioneer is worth.
Elton made the Sunday Times Rich List with an estimated net worth of £450million, which is up from £395million last year.
It’s believed he still profits around £20million per year from royalties alone.
Speaking ahead of is Glasto set, Elton teased a wild show when he said: “It’s a different show to what people have been seeing.
“On Farewell Yellow Brick Road, there’s quite a lot of deep cuts, it’s not all hits, and you’ve got to keep people interested.
“When you put a setlist together, I always say it’s a bit like having sex. You start off really well, then you chill out a little bit, then towards the end of the show all hell breaks loose”.
