Emmerdale fans brand Chas ‘hypocrite’ as she gives Mack cold shoulder after Chloe affair

Fans of Emmerdale were left fuming during the latest episode as Chas Dingle appeared to completely forget about her previous affair.

It was all kicking off on Tuesday night’s show (May 16), when a desperate Mack tried to speak to his wife Charity about their crumbling marriage.

Now that Mack has admitted to being the father of Chloe’s baby, the Dingles have been trying their best to keep him away from the family.

Near the end of the show, Mack tried his best to speak to Charity privately but was unable to as Noah, Ryan, Cain, Zack, Belle and Chas blocked him from doing so.

Emmerdale fans were unimpressed with Chas’ stance

But due to the fact that Chas was dealing with her own marital affairs not so long ago, viewers had plenty to say.

Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: “It was only a few months ago that chas was gonna leave Paddy for Al and take the baby with her. Hypocrites!”

Another penned: “Dingles are a bunch of hypocrites, Noah a convicted Sex pest acting like he’s a saint, Cain didn’t he sleep with someone underage. Chas not long ago had a huge affair. It’s like the writers forget the show’s own history.”

A third fumed: “Chas the worse bl**dy hypocrite there.”

Mack was faced with the Dingle’s wrath

While a fourth added: “Despite what Mack has done to Charity I still hate what Chas did to Paddy waaaaaay more!!!!!!!!”

But although Mack was clearly feeling the heat from the Dingle clang, he stood his ground and reminded them that they’ve all done something in their past that they are no longer proud of.

Charity has continued to convey her hurt and anger towards Mack since his sordid affair with Chloe came to light.

Charity has been left hurt by her husband’s actions

But in a recent interview with Express.co.uk, actress Emma Atkins, who plays Charity appeared to allude that things will be ok in the long run.

She said: “Maybe their relationship is in tatters at the moment, but the beauty of soap is you’ve always got to bump into those people because you live in the same village unless somebody leaves or moves out or kills somebody, which hopefully that’s not gonna happen with those guys.”
