Emmerdale fans were sent into meltdown after Danny Miller reunited with his co-star Ryan Hawley and teased a soap comeback for beloved couple Aaron Dingle and Robert Sugden.
Perhaps one of the greatest couples to grace Emmerdale village, fans have been begging for the return of Robert and Aaron, affectionally dubbed Robron, for a number of years.
And now it seems 32-year-old Danny, who played Aaron from 2008 until 2021, has teased their return after sharing a snap alongside his former on-screen husband.

As the duo caught up over a pint, the I’m A Celeb champion wrote: “Great to catch up with @ry_hawley reminiscing about old times and talking about our next chapter,” followed by the eyes emoji.
Unsurprisingly, the comments were filled with messages from fans who begged for the beloved couple to return to the Dales, with one writing: “Both please come back! #emmerdaleneedsyou.”
Another person added: “Can Aaron and Robert just finally ride into the sunset together? They deserve a happy ending together. A feel like a week long story arch can solve everything.”
“So are you guys coming back????? Like pretty please!!!!” begged someone else as a fourth shared: “I am so ready for you two to do something together. I miss you so much.”
A fourth fan echoed: “Please come bk the pair of ya! Emmerdale isn’t the same without you. You are the reason it was so good!”
While a fifth gushed: “Robron reunited!!! this photo made my heart skip a beat or two. I’m still convinced Robron will be back together again in Emmerdale, even if it takes years to happen!!”
Ryan, 37, took over the role of Robert in 2014 and remained a core part of the soap until his exit in 2019.
His relationship with Aaron became central to his character, however their love story met a devastating end when Robert was arrested for the murder of Lee Posner, who raped his sister Victoria Sugden.
Robert was sentenced to 13 years in prison and cut all ties with Aaron after being transferred to the Isle of Wight, leaving both his husband and fans heartbroken.
Aaron remained in the village for two more years after Robert’s departure, but revealed to mum Chas Dingle that things hadn’t been the same since his husband left.
He departed the Dales for a fresh start in 2021, with Danny reprising the role briefly in 2022 as part of the soap’s 50th anniversary.
