Fans of Emmerdale are warning Belle Dingle to be careful as their suspicions towards Tom King heightens.
Following his brief altercation with Vicar Charles, Tom was keen to get the ball rolling with Belle on Friday’s episode (September 29) as he tried to convince her to move in with him. But despite loving Tom’s company, Belle seemed hesitant about the idea.
Talking to Chas, Belle shared her worries and possible concerns. However, Chas was more encouraging and tried to advise Belle to go with her heart.

But fans at home weren’t convinced and seemed to think that Belle could be in danger. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter viewers shared their thoughts.
One fan wrote: “Don’t do it, Belle. Don’t think Tom is quite what he seems.” Another penned: “I have a feeling that Tom might start to emotionally abuse Belle?”
Another echoed: “I think Belle will move in with Tom and he will start gaslighting and abusing her emotionally.” While a fourth added: “I can’t put my finger on it but there’s something very off with Tom…”
Tom seemed to be the centre of viewers’ conversations during Friday’s episode after he was “beaten up” by Charles the day before. When Tom tried to help Charles emotionally, the Vicar pushed him aggressively in the presence of eye-witnesses.
Talking about his brief run-in, Tom was clearly distressed by it all but took the moment in his stride. But the other villagers were not impressed with Charles’ behaviour- with Belle even suggesting that maybe Tom should call the police and file a report.
But viewers were growing increasingly frustrated as they claimed the altercation did Tom no damage. Heading over to Twitter, fans complained that the situation was becoming “over the top”.
Sharing their thoughts on social media, one viewer wrote: “Charles attacking Tom was seriously out of order but Belle asking Tom if he’d called the police is a lil OTT. Especially when almost if not all members of the Dingle clan have unjustifiably clouted someone.”
While another viewer said: “Not Tom making out that Charles is some sort of Villain.”
