Things were heating up on the latest episode of Emmerdale when Charity and Caleb Dingle got hot and steamy, but fans didn’t approve.
On Tuesday night (June 13), Charity was clearly feeling sorry for herself following the evident breakdown of her marriage.
Meanwhile, Caleb was also dealing with work-related stress too and the fact that his son Nicky recently called his wedding off.

Due to their woes, Charity thought it would be a good idea to indulge in a heavy drinking session with Caleb at her place.
However, one thing quickly led to another and by the end of the programme Charity and Caleb shared a passionate kiss.
But fans were far from impressed with the predictable story and called out the scriptwriters for being lazy.
Heading over to Twitter one frustrated fan wrote: “OMG please no. Caleb and charity. Horrible. Lazy script writing.”
Another penned: “Oh @emmerdale really? It would have been more surprising & shocking if Charity didn’t shag Caleb!!”
A third said: “Emmerdale I understand u don’t know what to do with charity hence the awful Mack cheating storyline… but now an awful Caleb storyline really? Remember in 2017-2019 when her and Vanessa were your best storyline do you remember that?”
While a fourth annoyed viewer added: “Fantastic writing, I didn’t see that coming.”
Meanwhile, others were clearly confused on whether Caleb and Charity were cousins.
Heading over to Twitter again, one person asked: “Aren’t Charity and Caleb blood cousins? What?”
And another chimed: “Baffled by that episode. Aren’t Charity and Caleb related? (Forgotten if half brother and sister, or cousin).”
It comes after Emmerdale fans praised actress Claire King as her ‘iconic’ character Kim Tate plotted to take cold revenge against Caleb in last week Thursday’s dramatic episode.
Scheming Caleb was convinced he was going to get away with stealing Kim’s fortune but in Wednesday’s episode, it emerged Kim knew everything about what he was up to and his cruel plans.
After being confronted, Caleb later revealed he was in fact the son of Frank Tate, which meant he was the secret heir to Kim’s Home Farm.
He also revealed he’d been plotting to claim what he thought was his with the help of his son Nicky.
