Teasing more, the star continued: “Potentially a character that’s not even involved at the moment is about to get involved.”
He went on to confirm that the events of the crash will have “catastrophic” consequences at Christmas, adding: “So much stuff is going to happen. There’s some very fan favourites that are involved in this story and at Christmas it’s going to big.”
Ash went on to say: “There’s some really big stuff and there’s some really big characters involved in it. It’s been really cool to have a little bit of involvement in it. Matty is currently engaged to Amy (Natalie Ann Jamieson) and shared hopes of a happy wedding for the loved-up pair.
“I’m really excited for the new year with Matty and Amy as well,” Ash said. “I would love to see a soap wedding and a happy one.” Back in August, actors Lawrence, Jessie and Emma Atkins were spotted filming scenes for the horror accident.
It appears Chloe’s life will hang in the balance as a vehicle plummets off a cliff and looks to have her inside. A source told The Sun: “These are certainly all-action scene.

“Charity is hellbent on getting revenge on Mackenzie after he chose to stay with Chloe. But viewers will have to wait to see who survives.” At the centre of the drama is Charity, with Emma revealing there is a “big storm” brewing.
“I’m very excited! Some super soap weeks I don’t manage to be part of, which is just the way it goes,” the actress told Digital Spy. “So to be at the centre and for it to be quite a big storm brewing – not literally a storm, we’ve done that! I just know that it’s going to be spectacular in one way or another and we’re due to get the scripts shortly, but it’s going to be quite big.”
