It means that Coronation Street will air 30 minute episodes from 7.30pm until 8pm and BGT will follow at 8pm.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Yes! Back to Proper #Emmerdale Time 7pm.”
Another added: “See @ITV you can show #Emmerdale at 7pm there’s no harm in it.”
A third person posted: ” #Emmerdale at 7pm and #Corrie at 7.30 tonight and all this week on ITV1. (just like the good old days)”

In March 2022, ITV announced it would be changing its soap schedule.
Corrie changed to three hour-long episodes a week every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm until 9pm.
However, the Weatherfield soap will air every weeknight this week from 7.30pm.
In Emmerdale, a frustrated Jimmy King (Nick Miles) pleaded with Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) to visit their daughter Angelica in hospital following the crash.
However, Nicola was more focused on her execution of justice, in denial that it’s for herself instead of Angel.
Nicola visited the Doctors surgery but Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) says there was no medical evidence to substantiate her claims, leaving her burning with injustice on a warpath for Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb)
Later, Angel encourages her to accept that the crash was an accident, but Nicola was unreadable as she decided what to do next.
Emmerdale airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
