Emmerdale’s Cain revenge plot ‘sealed’ as AI teases brutal Craig murder

AI has shared its take on whether Emmerdale’s Cain Dingle will kill Craig Reed after he takes revenge over Lydia’s rape ordeal.

In upcoming scenes, Craig will be found dead. But before then, Cain along with Lydia’s husband Sam, will take it upon themselves to kidnap Craig and torture him for what he did to Lydia.

However, fans will be left unaware of who actually murdered the vile businessman until later scenes air. Wading in on the fatal murder and whether Cain is responsible, AI said: “Whether or not Cain Dingle will kill Craig on Emmerdale is a question that can only be answered by the show’s writers. However, there are a few things that we can consider when trying to predict what might happen.

“Firstly, it is important to remember that Cain is a very volatile character. He has a history of violence, and he has been known to act impulsively. In the past he has attacked people without killing them.

“Of course, it is also possible that Cain will not kill Craig. The writers may decide to take the story in a different direction, or they may decide to keep Cain and Craig at odds for the foreseeable future. Only time will tell what will happen.”

Earlier this month, Cain was involved in another dramatic storyline alongside his brother Caleb. Cain and Caleb kidnapped Aaron and dragged him back to the Yorkshire Dales after they discovered that he had trouble with an Italian mafia.

Before these scenes aired, actor Jeff Hordley, who plays Cain was asked whether his character could potentially kill someone going forward. Sitting alongside William Ash, who plays Caleb, Jeff revealed that his character would most likely commit murder in the village.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star and other associated press, actors Jeff and William shared their thoughts. Jeff said: “I would probably say me. I’m more capable but I’ve still never done it.”

Adding further insight into Cain’s mind and demeanour, William added: “I think Cain is kind of involved in that world and he operates in it but he kind of knows where the line is. I don’t think you’ll ever get Caleb tying anyone up- mind you, he tied Aaron up- but I don’t think you’ll get him torturing anybody,” he explained.
