Emmerdale's Charley Webb baffles fans as she shares 'real age' with birthday snap

Emmerdale star Charley Webb had fans doing a double take as she celebrated her recent 35th birthday with a sweet snap.

The soap star, who plays Debbie Dingle on the ITV show, joined the cast in 2002 and was involved in several dramatic storylines.

However, much to the devastation of the soap’s loyal legion of fans, Charley exited the show in 2021.

Since then, the mum-of-three has been keeping her followers updated on life after the Dales.

On Sunday (February 26) Charley took to her Instagram to share a snap of her celebrating her birthday – with her Emmerdale co-stars right by her side.

In the snap, Charley posed alongside several stars including Roxy Shahidi, Lucy Pargeter, and Emma Atkins.

She wrote in the caption: “This is 35. A room with most of my favourite people in our pyjamas. We had a sleepover with a Sound Bath Meditation and I couldn’t be happier. Happy thirty-five years to me.”

Plenty of Charley’s fans rushed to the comments section sharing their disbelief at her turning 35.

Fans flooded the comments to praise Charley after the update as they couldn’t believe she had turned 35. Sherrie said: “Happy 35th you look younger x” Liam added: ”

“How are you 35?” one follower questioned.

Charley starred on the soap for two decades

Echoing their thoughts, a second smitten fan gushed: “Happy 35th you look younger x”

“You look about 27” proclaimed someone else.

A fourth follower said: “As you get older you realise you don’t need 100s of friends. Just those that are always there for you. Happy 35th you still look 25 btw xx.”

Charley walked away from Emmerdale for good following the birth of her third child, Ace, whom she shares with husband and former co-star Matthew Wolfenden.

Discussing her departure last year, she said: “This is always my most asked question but I’ve never answered it before because I’ve never wanted to make a big deal of it.

“I left to have Ace two years ago. I went back at the end of last year for 10 weeks to complete a storyline. So, I guess officially it’s been a year. I never felt the need to announce it which is why we didn’t.”
