Euphoria star Angus Cloud dies at 25 shortly after his dad’s funeral as fans pay tribute

Actor Angus Cloud has died aged 25.

The Hollywood star, who is best known for playing Fezco in the hit TV series Euphoria, is said to have passed away at his family home in Oakland.

His family shared a heart-breaking announcement to TMZ, which read: “It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.”

Their statement unveiled that Angus’s dad had also died recently, and the star was struggling with his loss.

It continued: “Last week, he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend.”

No cause of death has been confirmed, and additional details have not been unveiled.

The statement added that Angus was open about his battle with mental health, and it said it is hoped his passing can be “a reminder to others that they are not alone”.

His family have requested privacy to help them process their devastating loss and hope the actor would be remembered for his laughter, humour and love for everyone.

The 25-year-old rocketed to fame after playing drug dealer Fezco in HBO’s Euphoria, which is a role he played for four years between 2019 and 2022.

His other acting credentials include roles in the movies The Line and North Hollywood, as well as in music videos for artists like Becky G, Karol G and Juice WRL.

Following the tragic news of his passing and Angus’s heart-broken fans have flocked to social media to share their condolences.

On Twitter, one mourning fan penned: “This is just not fair. Angus cloud should still be with us right now” while another added: “Rest in peace, Angus Cloud. You and Fez will both be missed.”

Another follower of his wrote: “Gone so young, RIP legend everyone will heavily miss you.”

As a fourth tribute read: “I’m sick to my stomach. He’s such an angel. May he rest in peace.”
