One child star who shot to fame in Forrest Gump looks completely unrecognisable decades later.
In 1994, young Hanna Hall was busy filming her scenes as Jenny Curran in the movie alongside Tom Hanks – and was responsible for the iconic line of dialogue, ‘Run, Forrest, run!’
She was just 10 years old when the film came out.

Since then, the actress – now 39 – has changed a lot, but she hasn’t stopped acting. After a starring role as Cecilia Lisbon in The Virgin Suicides back in 1999, she went on to star in everything from The Purge TV series to Criminal Minds.
She even played Judith Myers in 2007 flick Halloween.
In a huge step away from her previous roles, Hanna even stripped totally naked to star in Masters of Sex while her co-star touched her boobs.
It’s no surprise she felt so comfortable in the role, as along with her acting career, Hanna also works as an on-set intimacy coordinator helping out with the racier scenes.
Speaking to House Of Horrors about how she landed her most iconic role, Hanna explained: “Actually, it was very random. Nina Axelrod, my manager, was tired of LA and moved out to Colorado to teach classes and she had a relationship with an agency that she would get represented by and she had an open casting call in the newspaper when I was seven years old.
“My mother didn’t want to take me. It was a Sunday afternoon and she really didn’t want to go, so I went with some friends and Nina ended up liking me. They called me back a couple of times and sent my tapes from Colorado to LA and they ended up casting me.”
But she didn’t always want to be an actor. Speaking to Indie Outlook, Hanna confessed that while she would put on fun plays with friends, she didn’t know how things would turn out.
She explained: “It wasn’t a career that I was necessarily interested in at the time, but it was definitely something that I always enjoyed doing. I was so young that I don’t think I even questioned it. That first film was a very organic experience.

“When you’re that age, you don’t question the fact that it’s not you. You understand that the character is not you, and the older you get, the more your character’s [struggles] get in your head.
“At that age, it was very clear that this was something that I was playing. It had nothing to do with me or my life. That distinction is a lot clearer when you’re young, for some reason.”
