Friends actor Matthew Perry has died aged 54 after being found in his hot tub at his Pacific Palisades home.
He is reported to have drowned and law enforcement sources say that no drugs were discovered at the scene and there is no indication of foul play.
Emergency responders arrived at his home after receiving a call at 4.07pm about a suspected cardiac arrest, and found the star unconscious in his hot tub.

According to NBC, law enforcement sources claimed that Perry had drowned, and it was treated as a ‘water rescue’.
TMZ claim Perry returned home following a round of pickleball, a mix of tennis, badminton and ping-pong, and sent his assistant out on an errand, but was found unresponsive when the aide returned home just two hours later, prompting him to call for help.
The Friends’ official Twitter account confirmed the sad news as they posted: “We are devastated to learn of Matthew Perry’s passing. He was a true gift to us all. Our heart goes out to his family, loved ones, and all of his fans.”
Matthew was best known for playing the iconic Chandler Bing on hit US sitcom Friends, which ran for ten seasons from 1994 to 2004.
The character was known for his awkward sense of humour and sarcastic catchphrase which saw him struggle to romance women, until he married fellow Friend Monica Gellar.
After finishing the series, Matthew revealed that he had been battling opioid addiction, and couldn’t remember filming certain parts of the show.
In his memoir, the actor admitted he didn’t like watching the show back as he didn’t like looking at himself, penning: “I didn’t watch the show, and haven’t watched the show, because I could go, drinking, opiates, drinking, cocaine.
“I could tell season by season by how I looked. That’s why I don’t wanna watch it, because that’s what I see.”
The star also revealed how he had spent weeks in a coma after an opioid overdose caused his colon to burst, with Perry undergoing 14 surgeries to save his life.
He revealed his family were told it was a miracle he had survived, telling People: “The doctors told my family that I had a 2 percent chance to live. I was put on a thing called an ECMO machine, which does all the breathing for your heart and your lungs. And that’s called a Hail Mary. No one survives that.”
Following the show, Perry went on to have a successful career, appearing in Scrubs, 17 Again, Growing Pains and The Odd Couple.
In recent years, Perry was lying low and would rarely make public appearances, but was spotted in September this year looking in better health.
He said on The View that he was doing “really well”, adding: “Things are going great in my life. I wrote a book so that’s why I’m wearing glasses because I’m an author.”
