Comedy icon Bob Saget’s death shocked the world last year when he was found dead in his Orlando hotel room in 2022, aged just 65.
The Full House star was found with blunt head trauma from an accidental blow to the back of his head – which an autopsy ruled was likely due to a fall.
He died of a resulting subdural haematoma and subarachnoid haemorrhage in his sleep, and was suffering from Covid-19 at the time, though the virus was not thought to have played a role in his death.

Buried at the Mount Sinai Memorial Park Cemetery in California, Bob’s death left fans devastated with heartfelt condolences pouring in.
To mark what would have been his 67th birthday, Daily Star is taking a look inside Saget’s will – from a conspiracy theory surrounding his widow to the sale of his $8million LA home.
Eye-watering net worth
At the time of his death, Bob Saget was thought to be worth around $50million – and that’s despite “not making a fortune” from Full House.
According to The Sun, the star was never given ownership points on the franchise which shot him to fame, according to one source with ties to his business team.
Though the star went on to star on everything from How I Met Your Mother to America’s Funniest Home Videos, Bob never landed coveted commercial gigs either due to his R-rated stand-up act.
A source told the publication: “People assume Bob made a fortune on Full House but the original run of that show was one of his first major TV jobs and he really started from the bottom, salary-wise.
“In and of itself, it did not make him outrageously rich. He still had to take other jobs.”
However, according to CelebrityNetWorth, Bob was worth $50million by the time he died – with most of that money thought to have gone directly to family.
Family inheritance
Bob was married twice during his life – first to Sherri Kramer from 1982 until their divorce in 1997, and then to Kelly Rizzo, who he tied the knot with in 2018.
The star welcomed three daughters with his first wife – Aubrey, Lara and Jennifer – and it is thought most of his fortune was split between them and his widow Kelly.
A board member of the Scleroderma Research Foundation for much of his life after his sister died of the condition aged 47, it is also possible some of Bob’s money was donated to the charity.
Home loses millions
In June 2022, Bob’s incredible Los Angeles home was put on the market for $7.76million.
The Crestwood Hills residence included Elan smart home technology, which helped control almost everything going on in the house.
The mansion spanned around 6,600 square feet and featured an outdoor pool, stunning jacuzzi bathtub and stunning open-plan interiors.
However, Bob’s widow Kelly ended up letting the house go for just $5.4million – admitting it was “very triggering” to live there without her husband.
She explained: “If you go into my new house, there’s pictures of him everywhere. It’s like just shy of a Bob museum. But you know, he’s still everywhere. I look at videos of him all the time. I see photos of him all the time.”
Kelly added: “Something about the home that you shared sometimes can be very triggering… even if you had wonderful memories there, even if it was such a positive experience, which it was.
“I mean he loved our house, and it was such a positive memory – but there’s something about when somebody passes, the home itself can be a situation. So that’s why it was so nice to get a fresh start.”
Death conspiracy theory

In June 2022, Kelly was forced to shut down the numerous conspiracy theories surrounding Bob’s mysterious death.
Appearing on the red carpet at the Critics Choice Real TV Awards – where she was presented with the Impact Award for her husband’s legacy – Kelly responded to speculation around his death.
The family filed a lawsuit at the time to block the release of any medical examiner’s records – including photos, videos and audio recordings about the star’s death, along with “statutorily protected autopsy information”.
Conspiracies that the Covid-19 vaccine played a part in his death were branded baseless and “ridiculous” by Kelly, who said: “We don’t give it any energy. We cannot give it any energy. It is just ridiculous.”
She added: “It is unfortunate that people go down a negative route when all that Bob was, was positivity and love.
“So to not focus on that is a shame and a loss. Because that is who he was and was all about. So it’s like, let’s focus on that, you know?”
