Strictly Come Dancing bombshell Gemma Atkinson has revealed that she was told by one of her fans not to marry her fiancé Gorka Marquez, who she met on the BBC dancing competition.
As she appeared on Hits Radio, Gemma shared the funny story with listeners as she said: “I got a message today Tools that I feel like I have to you ‘cos I think you’ll find it funny.
“You know how on social media you always have now and again, come across, they call them a troll. I get some which I find quite funny so I always send it to the group [chat],” as she went on to reveal the message came through on Instagram.

Gemma continued: “So they messaged me and it could be coming from a nice place who knows but it says, ‘I know you like a certain amount of freedom but are you sure Gorka’s the right person for you? He’s always enjoying himself why you struggle with Mia [the couple’s daughter] and normal life. Don’t marry him!'”
Her co-star Mike then leapt to Gorka’s defence as he said: “You don’t struggle with Mia,” to which Gemma replied: “I know I don’t. She’s a joy, bless her.”
Mike then said: “Go back to the beginning of that message. So he’s always away ‘enjoying himself’? He’s working.”
Gemma agreed as she said: “I said yesterday he’s desperate to come home. He’s even looked at changing his flight to come home early. But because on the ‘Gram he’s put a picture of a beach , he’s ‘enjoying himself’ and I’m ‘struggling’.”
Mike joked: “Haters going to hate, girlfriend!
“You get those quite a lot of those sort of haters…” as Gemma jibed: “The judgey ones?”
Mike replied: “I don’t because I think people are jealous of your life but people look at me and they feel nothing but pity.”
Meanwhile, it seems Gemma has been getting plenty of opinions from her followers recently as she also faced negative backlash after sharing a video of her daughter with her dog.
In the throwback video, a baby Mia can be seen crying before she calmed down upon seeing one of Gemma’s pet dogs.
But as a dog trainer slammed Gemma for having her daughter so close to the pet, she posted on her social media: “Ihave the upmost respect for anyone that works with animals.
“But it was really disheartening to see my video used as a “bad example” and the comments “so irresponsible”.
“I know my dogs, I know my child and I know I’m a responsible owner and anyone who owns a pet should be.”
