Geordie Shore’s Gaz Beadle splits from wife Emma McVey as marriage falls apart

Geordie Shore icon Gaz Beadle has reportedly split from his wife Emma McVey after two years of marriage.

The 35-year-old headed over to Instagram to share the disappointing news with his followers as he took part in a Q&A on Monday (October 23). When asked whether he was still in a relationship with his wife, Emma, Gaz issued a rather candid response.

He said: “No we actually separated about 3 weeks ago we are still friends there is no bad blood or anything. We have worked out the best way of doing it for the kids which for me and Emma is always gunna be the most important thing.”

The once-happy couple share two children together. Their first son Chester is currently five-years-old and their daughter, Primrose is three.

Although Gaz revealed the breakup on his social media platform, Emma has yet to address the news. Gaz, whose real name is Gary, first met Emma in 2016.

Following a whirlwind romance, the pair tied the knot in July 2021 with both of their children in attendance on their big day. The lavish ceremony took place in Cheshire.

The news comes after Emma experienced a fairly difficult year with her health. In January, Emma underwent a life-saving heart operation.

The model had open heart surgery to mend three holes in her heart and her triscupid valve. This controls blood flow between the right atrium and right ventricle.

Emma later told fans that she mentally prepared to not see her family again after her operation. She later told The Sun: “They came to the hospital to drop me off and Gary had to drive away with the kids crying their eyes out after we said goodbye.

That was the hardest bit. I had to mentally prepare myself that it could be my last goodbye.

“I knew in surgery I’d be connected to a heart machine that would be keeping me alive while my heart was stopped, and I kept thinking, ‘They’re not going to be able to start my heart again’. I thought, ‘I’m going to get put to sleep and I’m not coming back out,”” she explained at the time.
