Gladiators star Jet – whose real name is Diane Youdale – was secretly engaged to another woman before she tied the knot with her now wife Zoe Gillbert, it has been claimed.
The 90s pin-up, 53, had always claimed that legal teacher Zoe had been her first same-sex relationship but according to a woman claiming to be her ex-fiancée, Lisa Nottingham, this was simply not the case.
Speaking out about her 18-month fling with the ITV star, Lisa, 54, explained that she was “not jealous” that Jet had moved on but was more confused over claims she’d not dated a woman previously.

The dog walking company CEO claimed that she’d met Jet during a walk in the woods and their relationship blossomed from there.

After a year of dating, Jet even got down on one knee asking Lisa for her hand in marriage.
But six months after their engagement, the pair made the decision to part ways in February 2022.
In an interview with The Sun, Lisa decided to set the record straight about her now “fizzled out” romance with psychotherapist Jet.
She said: “I’m pleased for her and I’m in a new relationship — we’ve moved on.

“But I don’t understand why she felt the need to make out Zoe was her first female relationship.”
According to a friend close to Diane, she’d considered Zoe to be her first real romance because they have got married.
The pal explained to the publication: “Because she and Zoe have got married, she regards this relationship as her first with a woman, because it lasted the distance.”
According to Jet her sexuality evolved “organically” over time, with the former athlete previously dating her Gladiators co-star Hunter – James Crossley.

Jet was also married for seven years to TV executive George Mayhew.
During an appearance on the Chillin With Ice podcast the TV starlet gushed came out about her sexuality as she gushed about being engaged to Zoe.
Spilling the beans on their first encounter, Jet explained it had been Zoe who had made the first move when bumping into one another in a supermarket.
Speaking on the former American Gladiators star Ice’s show – real name Lori Fetrick – Jet recalled Zoe introducing herself.
Zoe told her: “I think you’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen,” which caused Jet to go weak at the knees.
Following their initial date at a gastropub the pair’s relationship went from strength-to-strength with jet being blowed away with Zoe’s humour and the pair now being married.
