Hollywood’s newest serial killer movie Slotherhouse has shocked fans after it received rave reviews.
The film was announced earlier this month after other animal-centered films such as Cocaine Bear and Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey.
The slasher film follows a Senior Emily Young who wants to be elected as sorority president.

She adopts a cute sloth, thinking it will help her win, but a string of fatalities implicates the sloth.
Film fanatics were in hysterics over the premise when the trailer was released this month and took to social media to mock the film but now they may be forced to eat their words.
The movie has shockingly received rave reviews from critics with one person calling it a “masterpiece” and another saying it is “phenomenal.”
The Guardian’s Stuart Heritage toyed with the idea that it might be a “secret masterpiece” while Variety’s William Earl praised the ‘slick’ camerawork and consideration of the “overall craft.”
Other users took to Twitter, which is now called X, to share their thoughts on the preview of the movie.
One person said: “Okay, but Slotherhouse was actually phenomenal and I recommend everybody watching if you are in for campy horror.”
Another person penned: “‘I wish the promotional game for this movie was better because this movie was a gem. Campy af.”
A third said: “‘I urge u all to see #slotherhouse a fun film with a great story that’s funny but also has important messages. The Cast are great and The director @mattgoodhue cleverly uses horror staples. Highly recommend if u want a unique slasher!”

Another commented on Google: “This movie is genuinely good, and not good in the way the room is, good in the way Marvel used to be. This is pure, absurdist horror and comedy at the same time and you need to give it a try.”
Another reviewer said: “This was an amazing movie! It never had a dull moment and the theater was consistently laughing at all the comedy.”
