I’m A Celebrity… South Africa stars were given the shocking news that they would be deciding who leaves the camp next.
The ITV programme has been running since 2002 but made history during Monday night’s episode (May 1) when the celebrities were given the power of voting who is evicted, something never done before.
Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly entered camp to tell them the news before each star voted in a secret ballot.

During Tuesday’s episode (May 2), the mood around camp is sombre as Helen Flanagan says of voting: “It makes you feel like s***.”
Made in Chelsea star Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo adds: “I’m not happy about my decision. I just felt I had to vote for someone,” while Myleene Klass battles with her decision, asking: “I’m now thinking, did I do the right thing?”
Later in camp, talk turns to Coronation Street and Andy Whyment reveals one of Alan Halsall’s storyline impacted a lot of men.
Discussing a previous storyline, Jordan Banjo says: “Tyrone used to get a clip around the ear from his wife,” as Andy Whyment reminds him of the character’s name, telling him: “Kirsty”.
“Some proper wicked storylines on Corrie,” the Diversity star says.
The 42-year-old adds: “The amount of letters that Al got from that. A lot of men get domestically abused and [are] too ashamed to admit it.”
Facing the next trial, Tanks of Torment, is Carol Vorderman and she immediately chooses Fatima Whitbread to join her.
In the Bush Telegraph, the Olympic athlete says: “My name came out of Carol’s mouth within seconds!”

Joe, who was crowned champion of I’m A Celeb in 2008, admits: “I’m really nervous. I feel like I’m doing this for the first time again, which ain’t good.”
Dean, 45, says of returning: “I’m probably more scared now than I was then!”
