I’m A Celeb’s Carol Vorderman reveals she’s ‘christened’ her bed as she warns co-stars

I’m A Celebrity… South Africa star Carol Vorderman is set to make a racy confession – admitting she has “christened” her bed in the camp.

The 62-year-old ageless beauty is back on TV screens on Wednesday (May 10) for another instalment of jungle fun.

But in the latest instalment, Carol shares her theory that sleeping in a particular bed in the camp actually gets you booted from the show.

In the Bush Telegraph Carol explains: “Early on I started christening the bed nearest the ‘fairy tunnel’, the ‘Bed Of Doom’. Because, if you think about it, Shaun was in that bed, Shaun went.

“Then it was Amir [who] took it. Amir went home. Andy took it, Andy’s gone home. Joe took it, Joe’s gone home. It is… the Bed… Of… Doom….”

Elsewhere in the episode, Carol and Myleene talk about ditching the bathroom scales, with Carol saying: “I only go on dress size.”

Myleene concurs saying: “The second I had daughters, I threw out the scales. No way, I’m not going to have them ruled by numbers. Those numbers.”

Carol confirms: “I threw mine out in 1999. I’ve not known mine [weight] this century.”

Myleene says: “People ask me my weight all the time and I don’t know it. Why would you let your children measure themselves, their value, their contribution by numbers on a scale? I was like, no, get rid, I don’t want it in the house.”

Carol says: “Good for you.”

Myleene then says: “Body positivity is so important. I want my girls to be empowered by what their abilities are and what they have to say for themselves and how they think. I want that to be celebrated, not skin and glands and fat. We all have it.”

One of the other campmates then asks Carol about how good she was at school and Carol confesses: “Never did my homework. Seriously! Half an hour at the back of the bus. It was all too easy. I was always being told off. I told a nun to f*** off once. She was horrible. I was a naughty girl. I was in nightclubs in Manchester at 15 with the bad boys. Loved it.”
