I’m A Celebrity… South Africa star Fatima Whitbread has left viewers at home “in tears” after she shared a sad story.
On Wednesday (May 3), Fatima shared a story about her childhood with ITV co-stars Carol Vorderman and Helen Flanagan.
She opened up about how she spent time in a children’s home when she was younger and asked a worker to be “her mum”.

Leaving her co-stars teary-eyed, it appeared she also affected viewers at home with her tale.
ITV fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the episode.
One wrote: “So much respect for Fatima Whitbread, heartbreaking start in life yet never let it hold her back, extraordinary lady.”

This comes after fans took to social media earlier on in the episode after Fatima told Andy Whyment off for not doing his camp chores.
One tweeted: “Fatima you do realise they are adults not children! If she woke me up to do a fhore I’d tell her to do one! Poor Andy bless her #ImACeleb”
Another ranted: “Sorry But How Much Of A Buzz Kill Is Fatima!! I Understand They Have To Do Their Jobs But Saying People Aren’t Pulling Their Weight When They’re Fast Asleep Is Ridiculous! If Your Awake Fats You Do The F*****g Fire!! #ImACeleb #imacelebrity”

Though as Fatima shared her childhood story, she also explained why she was so strict on camp rules, as growing up in the care home she was under a regimental routine.
Though after she revealed this, one defended her and said: “Makes sense now why Fatima is hot on rules and chores #ImACeleb”
