However, things took a turn after too much wine was consumed which was made clear when the couple returned to Joe’s place.
According to the former Eastenders actor, the pair raced up the stairs for some action.
Yet the movement was all too much for the food and wine in Stacey’s stomach and their romantic evening resulted in the former X-Factor contestant-turned TV personality who vomited over the walls and carpets.
“I realised that nothing she could ever do would ever turn me off her. She is just so lovely,” he told campmates.
The couple who have now been together eight years, first met during the production of a spin-off after-show series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
Both Joe and Stacey were involved in the show having both won their series of the jungle.
Joe told fellow camp mates: “She was queen of the jungle like ten years ago and when we did the spin off show she came out to do a week on our show.
“We just sort of spent all day together, every day for like a week, and I just knew instantly. I could feel something coming from her…”
The pair became good friends, and eventually dated once Stacey became single.
Since then Joe and Stacey have bought a home called ‘Pickle Cottage’ where they raise their children.
Stacey has two sons from previous relationships, Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 11. While Joe has a son called Harry, 15.
In addition, Joe and Stacey have welcomed three children into the family together, Rex, 3, Rose, 1, and newborn Belle.
