Ranvir Singh has been branded “ridiculous” by one of her co-stars on Good Morning Britain as she made a huge announcement about her career.
Singh, 46, was back presenting the ITV morning news programme on Friday (December 29). She was hosting the show together with main co-host Richard Madeley, but also joined by a number of other co-stars including entertainment reporter Rishi Davda.
During Friday’s show, Davda was welcoming viewers during the course of the entertainment segment he was presenting, filling in for usual host Richard Arnold. But as he ran through his news stories, a particular story about his GMB co-host was next to be revealed.

Rishi, however, opted to take on a more relaxed tone as he introduced the story as he made the swipe at Ranvir. “And in the nicest possible way, Ranvir is being ridiculous again in the way of entertainment,” Davda quipped – leaving his co-stars speechless.
With none of his fellow journalists laughing at his jibe, producers at the show played the sound of a gust of wind to highlight how the joke had landed. Ranvir joked she had no idea what the sound was, to which Rishi hit back: “Just the response to my bad jokes, it’s fine.”
Davda then revealed that Ranvir had landed a brand new presenting role, but instead of the headlines Ranvir would be becoming a quiz show host. She then announced that she would be the host of the rebooted series of Riddiculous, a quiz show in which three teams have to work out the answers to some tricky riddles.
Speaking about the return, Singh beamed as she welcomed the show back after some years off the air. “It’s taken a while to get back on air, but I know there’s a really strong following for it, so please come and watch it,” she admitted.
After this, Ranvir busted out some of her own riddles to test the strength of the GMB cast’s lateral thinking. However, before she started, she quickly slammed bosses at the show for their shoddy work in getting the tough questions.
“These are sort of riddles, okay? This is the sort of thing.” Ranvir said. “These aren’t questions from my show, by the way, these are from the researchers at GMB – the riddles are slightly more challenging on my show.”
As Ranvir read her riddles out, her co-stars were left reeling as they struggled to figure out many of the questions. Luckily, Richard and fellow star Marverine Cole were able to quickly get their own questions right, whilst Rishi looked on in shock.
Good Morning Britain airs every weekday at 6am on ITV1 and ITVX.
