ITV I’m A Celebrity turns tense as Tony Bellew furiously snaps at Ant and Dec during trial

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Tony Bellew snapped at Ant and Dec as he tackled his final Bushtucker Trial.

The boxer, 41, arrived at the Trial clearing alongside fellow finalists Sam Thompson and Nigel Farage. Tony was the first to take on a challenge, named Stakeout.

Tony was strapped down to the giant plate and was forced to stay on it for 10 minutes while a number of jungle critters joined him. As it got going, Tony was accompanied by mealworms and offal.

Clearly not pleased, he shouted: “Why am I picked for this? This is a joke.” Trying to take his mind off it, Ant asked what Tony had chosen for his starter for his final meal. But Tony didn’t want to respond as he snapped: “There’s no point talking about that now.”

As Ant confirmed he was nearing the next star, an infuriated Tony replied: “I’m nowhere near. Stop telling lies.” The Liverpool-born star got more irate as the trial went on, declaring: “I swear if one goes near my goldfish”.

Ant asked: “Tony why you calling it a goldfish?” To which he yelled in response: “Works four times, it’s done the job, it doesn’t matter.” Updating Tony on how much time he had left, Dec revealed he only had to lie there for three more minutes, therefore didn’t have long to go.

But this didn’t go down with the athlete as he screamed: “It’s not, there’s miles to go!” Tony continued yelling: “They’re biting, this is a disgrace.” Watching on, Dec said: “This is hardcore.” But Tony was quick to hit back: “No it’s not.”

The rangers then poured scorpions and spiders onto his head for his final two minutes. “Why aren’t yous listening?” he shouted, demanding: “Bang the claxon!”

As Ant revealed he only had to endure the trial for 30 more seconds, Tony declared: “Just hurry up!” Tony successfully lasted 10 minutes and therefore won three starters as well as his drink and a treat for his final meal.

Ant reminded him that he had no more trials to endure, but just one tasty meal. Hitting back once again, Tony responded: “I’ve just been the tasty meal” before branding everyone “a*******s”
