Viewers of The Chase were left baffled after one contestant described his job to host Bradley Walsh.
Fans of the show were less than impressed when hopeful winner Martin appeared on the show and was asked what he does to earn a living.
As he responded admitting he had become a “post person” during the Covid-19 pandemic and was still in the job now, viewers were furious as they heard his job title.

Taking to Twitter they lashed out at his choice of words, unimpressed by his inclusive approach to naming his work.
One wrote: “Sorry what!? a Post Person!? You’re a Postman mate.”
Another added: “Contestant ‘I’m a Postperson,’ Bradley ‘How long have you been a Postman?’ Correct Brad. A postman.”
A third quipped: “A post person? So he used to be a person?”
A fourth social media user tweeted: “Did he just call himself a postperson?”
A fifth said: “A what? A post person? It’s postman is it not? Or did I miss the change?”
Martin was up first to battle The Chaser in the form of Darragh Ennis but things didn’t go quite to plan for the postie when he failed to deliver against the genius former contestant.
He didn’t answer enough questions correctly to secure his place in the next round of the hit ITV game show and crashed out in the first round when he was caught by the chaser.
The disappointed player – who is also a lead singer in a band titled Second Spark – bid his farewell to the show as he bowed after being defeated by Darragh.
Martin had been hoping to secure some studio time for the band and an engagement ring for his girlfriend with the money had he won.
However, things didn’t play out too well for his fellow contestants either with all of them going home empty handed after they failed to outperform Darragh.
