ITV The Chase’s Bradley Walsh snaps ‘what’s wrong with you’ as he scolds player minutes in

The Chase’s Bradley Walsh was not too impressed minutes into the show airing – with the host jokingly snapping at a player.

The hit ITV gameshow was back on TV screens on Thursday (November 9) and telly legend Bradley welcomed four new quizzers. As fans tuned in for the primetime programme, he introduced contestants Ben, Debbie, Alex and Steve before they battled it out to take home the all-important cash prize.

This week the quartet was up against Darragh Ennis who made sure to bring his A-game against the quizzers. But when it was Ben’s turn to bag some cash – he ended up disappointing a rather hungry Bradley.

The player was quizzed by Bradley on what he likes to do to relax. Ben told the host how he’s a “keen baker, specialising in cake.”

Baker Ben didn’t bring in any cakes for Bradley

Bradley straight away replied: “Did you make any for us today? Did you bring any?” Squirming, the player sheepishly replied: “Uhm.”

The host wasn’t happy that he hadn’t brought in any baked goods, so after looking around in shock, he jokingly fumed: “What is the matter with contestants?!” He went on: “If they say they bake and they cook, why don’t they bring stuff in? Do you know what I mean?!”

Brad wasn’t impressed

Ben managed to make it through his round and bag a spot in the final. Up next was Debbie, who also beat the chaser in her solo round.

With £7,000 in the bank, third player Alex failed to add to it as she was caught and booted from the show. Player four Steve then went head-to-head with the chaser for a whopping £59,000.

However, Steve was unfortunately caught and was sent home empty-handed. This meant it was just Debbie and Ben in the final, playing for a hefty seven grand.

In the final tense chase, the duo managed to get 17 correct answers, a score that Bradley was impressed with. However, the chaser Darren caught Debbie and Ben with 25 seconds remaining.
