Lorraine Kelly was left gobsmacked as the latest guest on her show, an Emmerdale star, revealed his secret link to music superstar Diana Ross.
The 63-year-old Scottish host was back at the helm of her ITV morning series on Wednesday (March 29).
On the show, Lorraine spoke to Kevin Mathurin, who plays vicar Charles Anderson on the hit soap Emmerdale.

But Lorraine was left with her jaw on the floor after he revealed he previously had worked with music legend Diana
“When I left college in 1991, my journey started more on the dance career, so I kept going down that route,” Kevin said.
“And what an amazing time you had,” Lorraine quipped.
“Madison Square Garden with Diana Ross I believe,” she added with a smile on her face.
“Yeah,” he said before laughing
“Wow that’s something that must have been a total highlight,” Lorraine said, with Kevin replying: “Definitely.”
“We had a moment where, she likes to swap the running order of the show, so we would come on thinking we were doing a dance routine, and one time she decided ‘Ok I got a friend here in the audience.’
“And this friend starts walking up on stage and all of a sudden it’s Luther Vandross.”
“Wow,” Lorraine gasped.
Kevin went on: “And they sing a duet of endless love and I’m sitting there like, I can’t believe this is happening.”
Kevin, who first appeared in Yorkshire’s most famous fictional village in December 2020, previously had roles in a string of other titles including Doctors and Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
The soap star has become a firm favourite on Emmerdale, having been involved in several dramatic storylines.
In 2021, he had to film gruelling scenes for the show’s survival episode – which saw the cast of characters head off on an adventure day accompanied by killer Meena Julta.
Kevin is also a proud dad to son Harley, with his DJ partner Nikki Beatnik.
