Jamie Foxx’s family are reportedly “preparing for the worst” as the actor remains in hospital following a health scare.
The Hollywood actor, 55, is still being treated four weeks after “suffering a serious medical emergency” as his family and friends are “hoping for the best but preparing for the worst,” according to a source close to his inner circle.
Details of Jamie’s condition have not been disclosed, but a source close to the actor told TMZ that he “needs all the prayers and well-wishes his fans can muster”.

The source further claimed: “Jamie’s people are saying he’s doing OK and improving, while doctors try to get to the bottom of his problems — but he wouldn’t be in a hospital this long if he was anything close to OK.”
Jamie was taken to hospital after he experienced a medical complication while working on his upcoming Netflix feature, Back In Action, alongside Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close.
Sharing the announcement publically, his daughter Corinne initially shared an Instagram statement about the health scare last month, writing: “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday.
“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers,” the statement read in addition. “The family asks for privacy during this time.”

A week ago, Jamie’s condition was said to have improved, with sources claiming doctors are doing more tests before allowing him to leave and have advised him to “keep his stress level down”.
“Jamie is stable and not in a life-threatening situation now,” the source told People.
“[Doctors] are doing more tests and want to be completely sure that he will be okay before allowing him to leave the hospital.”
Although Jamie is “healing” and “feeling the love” from his supporters and well-wishers, details of the situation remain under wraps.
Sources told Radar that he’s “doing OK and improving, while doctors try to get to the bottom of his problems,” but he “wouldn’t be in a hospital this long if he was anything close to OK.”
