Though during a promo clip, viewers could see singer Jane helping to release some baby turtles.
Where she said: “I’m calling one Ed and one Jean,” before revealing how emotional the experience was.
Host Ronan Keating asked Jane to explain the moment, and she said: “I’ve just recently lost my partner and my mother at the same time.
“Sorry my throat went there, always does when I talk about them.”
Jane sadly lost her partner, Eddie Rothe, in March 2022 after he died from lung cancer.
She also sadly lost her mother in 2018.
Jane continued: “I just thought this is new life…You’ve got to think at the end of something comes something beautiful in new life. It was quite an emotional bit for me.”
As the studio discussed the show further, Jane’s spirits were lifted as she spoke about her adventures.
Though she did confront host Alex Jones as she shut her down for making the wrong assumption about her Vegas trip.
Another video was shown of Jane flying through the air on a zip wire in Downtown Las Vegas.
Jane told the team: “It goes all the way through this massive mall in the old strip.”
Alex then chimed in to say: “It looks like it’s going quite slow to be fair…”
However, Jane quickly interjected: “No it’s not!”
This resulted in the room erupting in laughter, with Jane then adding: “I just thought I’d get that in.
“No, it’s going quite quickly that.
“Can you see my hair flowing in the background? That’s because it’s quite fast.”
The One Show airs on BBC One weeknights at 7pm
