Jennifer Aniston admits she hates certain compliment after dazzling fans for decades

Jennifer Aniston has continued to garner attention around her dedication to fitness, but has admitted she can’t stand age-related compliments.

The 54-year-old hates the back-handed phrase “you look good for your age”, explaining that age shouldn’t be a factor in whether someone looks good.

In an interview with British Vogue, the Friends star said: “It drives me bananas. I can’t stand it.

“That’s a habit of society that we have these markers like, ‘Well you’re at that stage, so for your age…’ I don’t even understand what it means.

“I’m in better shape than I was in my twenties. I feel in my mind, body, and spirit. It’s all 100% better.”

Jennifer admitted she hadn’t always approach exercise in a healthy way, causing injuries

While Jennifer has always been into fitness, she recently admitted she hadn’t always approached the lifestyle in a healthy way, revealing that she’d suffered multiple injuries from overdoing it.

Speaking to InStyle, the star said: “When you’re in a mindset of, ‘I need to do 45 minutes of cardio or I won’t get a good workout,’ it’s daunting.

“I believed it for so long. I just burnt out and broke my body.”

However, Jennifer didn’t realise the impact she was having on her health until a therapist pointed it out during one of their sessions.

“My physical therapist gave me a Barbie doll that’s covered in Kinesio tape.

“It’s a silly mental image until you realise the purpose of all that tape is ‘to show every injury I’ve had in the last 15 years.’”

Since then, Jennifer has taken a more mindful approach to exercise, often working out with friends.

She’s also previously revealed the healthy eating routine that she implements alongside regular exercise, which starts off with warm lemon water in the morning, followed by a shake or avocado and eggs.

Jennifer has also been an advocate of intermittent fasting known as the 16.8 diet.

“I do intermittent fasting, so no food in the morning. I noticed a big difference in going without solid food for 16 hours,” she told First for Women magazine.
