Jennifer Lawrence had ‘violent’ reaction to brutal interview that left her sobbing

Jennifer Lawrence has revealed she had a “passionate” and “violent” reaction to an interview that left her sobbing.

The Hunger Games star had fans in stitches last week as she made a dramatic appearance on an episode of First We Feast’s YouTube series Hot Ones while promoting her new raunchy rom-com No Hard Feelings.

The hit talk show, which sees celebs answering questions while taking on increasingly spicy chicken wings, had Jennifer crying out in pain.

Tears streamed down her face and her nose was running as she exclaimed at one point: “I feel like I’m gonna die!”

The actress made it through the seriously spicy challenge but has revealed her intense reaction didn’t end when the camera stopped rolling.

Discussing the viral interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, Jennifer recalled how just moments later she started vomiting the hot wings back up again.

“I passionately threw up after. Violently,” she said.

The actress explained the episode was shot on the same day as a press junket for No Hard Feelings, revealing she barely made it back up to her room before she started chucking up.

“I made it upstairs to my suite. My holding suite,” Jennifer said.

She added: “We shot at the Four Seasons downstairs. My stomach gave me, like, eight minutes to get upstairs and then she… She… [vomited].”

Initially, Jennifer seemed to be faring pretty well during her Hot Ones interview.

But it all started going downhill for the star when she scoffed down a wing covered in the Da Bomb Beyond Insanity hot sauce, the spiciest one in the lineup with a whopping rating of 135,600 Scoville Heat Units.

“Oh, good heavens. Oh my God,” Jennifer said as she immediately began fanning her face and whimpering.

She started drinking from the glasses around her in an attempt to overcome the pain, but added in a panic: “Nothing helps!”

As the heat continued to set in and tears ran down her face, Jennifer wept: “I feel like I’m gonna die. Have you ever had anybody act like this?”

Luckily the agonizing experience didn’t seem to have a long-lasting impact on the actress, who was back to promoting her newly released racy comedy this week.

No Hard Feelings sees Jennifer playing an Uber driver struggling to keep up with the payments on her childhood home before she’s hired by the wealthy parents of a 19-year-old boy to date their awkward son.

The raunchy film sees Jennifer in her first-ever fully nude scene with the actress revealing she decided to strip off because it was “hilarious”.

She told Variety: “Everyone in my life and my team is doing the right thing and going, ‘Are you sure? Are you sure? Are you sure?’ I didn’t even have a second thought. It was hilarious to me.”
