Justin Timberlake and Megan Thee Stallion appeared to get into a heated argument backstage at the MTV VMAs.
The two pop titans were seemingly caught in a tense exchange on camera during the annual award ceremony, which saw Taylor Swift take home the Artist of the Year and a ton of other gongs.
Rapper Megan and Justin performed separately at the award show, with singer Justin reuniting with his NSync bandmates for the occasion.

The two music titans worried fans online when they appeared to argue off stage, with many flocking to social media to share theories about what was uttered to cause the clash.
It looked like Justin said something to Megan that was inaudible but upset her, resulting in her firing back and pointing a finger at him before he walked off.
