Appearing alongside her hubby, she said: “It’s a girl guys – we are so excited we’re having a girl.”

Former England footballer Rio, who also has three older children, added: “I knew it was a girl but I actually wanted a girl. I wanted boys at the beginning. I wanted Cree to be a boy.

In a recent fan Q&A, Kate revealed she had no-kissing rule when she first started dating and was in front of his three children.

She explained: “We didn’t have the whole honeymoon period. It went full-blown ‘right we’ve got kids and if we’re going to make this work we’re all in’.

“So the romance was pretty dead because there’s three kids, they’ve lost their mum, you’re thinking about so much, you just want to get it right.

“I don’t feel like I was there constantly, and when I was, I was fun. And absolutely no kissing.

“We said this the other day – I said ‘we don’t really kiss in front of the kids that much,'” she added.
