Katie Price at risk of losing £2m mansion as she returns to court over £3.2m debt

Katie Price will need to share the details of her finances in front of a judge this week.

On Thursday, September 14, she will be back in court for another bankruptcy hearing, and it’s reported that she could be forced to give up her famous ‘Mucky Mansion’.

The 45-year-old reality star will be asked to give evidence at the hearing, The Sun has reported, which could ultimately see her hand over the keys to her home.

Her huge home cost a whopping £1.3m nine years ago but it’s now reported to be worth over £2m.

It’s said that her creditors, including two lenders against the house, want their cash back and the trustees handling her bankruptcy could sell her home to meet her debts.

The Sun reported that legal notices on her home prevent Katie from being able to sell it herself.

It’s claimed she needs to explain to the court how she intends to settle her £2.3million debts or prove that her home is vital to her work.

A lot of her OnlyFans content comes from the huge property and she has also used it for her reality show, Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion.

Katie previously said on Michelle Visage’s Rule Breakers podcast that she is “fed up” of going to court after being declared bankrupt in 2019.

She said earlier this year: ” I’m so threatened with court letters. I’ve been to court more times than I’ve had hot dinners lately.

“I am not scared of court anymore. I have said, ‘Can’t you put me to prison just to cover it all? Just be done with it.’

“I’m fed up with the reminders and why I’m in [court]. I genuinely don’t care if I go to prison.”

Katie then cheekily said she would sell her story if she did go to prison and would “experience what it’s like”.

Katie previously said on GB News that her bankruptcy “isn’t the end of the world”

She added: “Lots of people go into bankruptcies, and I think it’s quite good that I am in a bankruptcy, it’s made me re-value things.

“Everything in my life is now in place, never be embarrassed about being in a bankruptcy.”
