Katie Price has been defended by fans after mum-shaming trolls questioned why her daughter wasn’t in school.
The 45-year-old has been hosting a number of makeup masterclasses across the UK with her daughter Princess, 16. Sharing sweet snaps alongside her daughter on Instagram, Katie has been keeping fans updated about the classes and their whereabouts.
In one of her posts, Katie captioned the photo: “Princess & I will be in Dundee tomorrow and Edinburgh on Monday night!” And in another snap, she wrote: “We had the best time meeting everyone in Arbroath last night.”
But after seeing the posts, some social media users were left concerned. One follower penned: “Is she still going to school?”
Another added: “That’s what I thought? Maybe school isn’t important.” And a third asked: “Isn’t she at college??”
But others quickly jumped to Katie’s defence and reminded users that Princess finished school last year. One fan wrote: “Princess finished school last summer.”
Meanwhile, another commented on the day the event took place and wrote: “OMG tomorrow’s Sunday, unless she’s supposed to go to school on weekends too?? And as for Monday, what business is it of yours??”
But this isn’t the first time, former glamour model Katie has been shamed for her parenting skills this year. In September trolls took offence when she revealed she often gets scared when leaving the house with her kids.
On an episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show, the star said: “I get really nervous when I go out, because I know people stare. It just sort of gets me a bit ‘ohh no, what’s going to happen?'”
Katie took her children Jett, Bunny, Princess and Harvey, who has Septo-optic Dysplasia, autism and Prader-Willi syndrome, out for the day in Brighton. Explaining what happened to sister Sophie, she said: “So I’m with Harvey and there’s all lager louts and people just grab Harvey and he weren’t in the best mood because he had to walk.
“I don’t know what it is but some people just think they can use and abuse you.” She added that Harvey politely said “No thank you” when people wanted to talk to him, but Katie fumed, “people should have some respect”.
However, fans were not happy that the mum-of-five allowed her children to be out in the public eye. One fan harshly said: “If you didn’t put him in the public eye all the time then. This wouldn’t happen.”
