Former glamour model Katie Price opened up about the car crash that saw her hit with a drink-drive conviction and admits she “hit rock bottom.”
While insisting that she’s “sorting herself out”, the 44-year-old looked back on the moment and said “there’s no excuse”.
Speaking to Nigel Farage on GB News, Katie told viewers that she was “thankful” she didn’t hurt anyone in the car accident that led to her conviction.

““There’s no excuse. I’m just thankful that I didn’t hurt anyone,” she said. “I did hit rock bottom. I’ve tried to kill myself. I could not have got any more bottom that I did. But I’ve come up and am sorting myself out.”
Katie also touched on her financial difficulties which saw her declare herself as bankrupt for the third time after she had spent years amassing a £45million fortune.
“I’ve had money and then lost money and it is not not everything in the world,” she told Nigel.
Katie confessed that money has been the “root of all evil” in her life but has helped her find who her real friends are.
“In fact, it’s the root of all evil in my life,” she said. You know, I’ve had to pay this person, that person, then that person. You realise who your real friends are when you go through a tough time.”
The TV personality then shared her goals to become a paramedic alongside working on other business ventures, including a “selling range of mobility scooters” and memorabilia.
“I’m going to do a theatre tour after the summer selling my memorabilia because I’ve got so much stuff like bras and other items,” Katie explained.
She continued: “And I still want to train to be a paramedic. I was training to be a registered nurse before I got into this industry, but I didn’t finish it. So I am a caring person. I love people but people don’t ever get to see that side.”
