Katie Price snuggles with dogs as she’s accused of selling them for thousands

Former glamour model Katie Price has said that she still owns her dogs, after recent reports claimed she had sold two of them.

The 45-year-old headed over to Instagram to confirm that her chihuahuas Captain and Batman were both currently under her care after The Sun published a story claiming she sold her pups on freeads.co.uk last week for £2,000 each. Sharing a clip of herself sitting beside her dogs, Katie told fans it was “fake news”.

Wearing an oversized pink hoodie in the video clip while cosying up with her pups and her son, Jett, she said: “Here I am with my dogs. None of them have been sold.”

The star went on to add that she’s being “picked on” while also claiming that she hadn’t done any advert and that it must be a “fake advert”. She then said: “I have all my dogs, thank you very much.”

As well as her dogs Captain and Batman, Katie also has three other pups too. The TV star is also the owner of Alsatian Tank, and chihuahuas Buddy and Colin.

In June, Katie’s dog Blade was tragically killed after it was hit by a vehicle on the A24, close to her West Sussex home. Katie later revealed that the police were investigating the death of her German Shepherd.

She said: “Blade, my guard dog, unfortunately, it upsets me to talk about, but has been killed by somebody, he wasn’t just run over. He was killed. There is a police investigation about it.”

The tragic accident took place just seven months after another of Katie’s dogs, Sharon, was killed on the same road. A driver picked the helpless Pomeranian off the A24 and took her to Arun Vets in Pulborough, West Sussex, who later confirmed that the pup had passed away.

Last month the mother-of-five gave her fans an insight into life at home with all of her pets and her children. In a TikTok video, she said: “The guinea pigs wind the dogs up, and the dogs wind the guinea pigs up.

“If it’s not the kids, it’s the animals, and if it’s not the animals, it’s me. My house is just bonkers. Honestly.”
