Kevin Bacon’s son Travis unrecognisable with gothic look and long black hair

Hollywood star Kevin Bacon’s son Travis looks nothing like his father and is sporting a totally gothic look.

Born in 1989 to Kevin and his wife Kyra Sedgwick, Travis is the oldest Bacon child, with sister Sosie Ruth born three years later in 1992.

All grown up now, Travis looks worlds away from his Hollywood hunk dad, sporting long black hair that passes his shoulders and a very gothic vibe.

In a recent snap, Travis could be seen rocking a black leather jacket and a dark t-shirt, with a silver chain around his neck and his hair falling to cover one eye.

Spotted out with his dad earlier this year, Travis sported a heavy metal band tee and black jeans, with intricate sleeve tattoos running up and down both arms.

Though it’s a far cry from his appearance as a teen on various red carpets, Travis has always been an advocate for a goth style, rocking up to a 2017 premiere with his A-lister parents in a similar outfit.

With an Emmy winner mum and a dad who starred in everything from Footloose to Friday the 13th, it’s no surprise that 33-year-old Travis has followed them into the industry.

He works in the sound department on various movies, and performs in heavy metal band Black Anvil, while his sister Sosie found fame in horror flick Smile.

Travis made his acting debut back in 2005, appearing as Lenny in the film Loverboy, before moving on to composing soundtracks for films like 2022’s Space Oddity and 2019’s Girls Weekend.

And his close relatives aren’t the only ones with a claim to fame, as Kyra’s cousin was model Edie Sedgwick, Andy Warhol’s favourite, who died in 1971.

Travis’ grandfather is famous venture capitalist Henry Dwight Sedgwick V.

The metalhead has been open about his struggle with his mental health after being diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder.

“Finding healthy ways to channel your rage and mania is conducive to your survival and manifesting positivity on this wretched earth. Mine is Muay Thai. What’s yours?”

The star shared a video of himself boxing in the Muay Thai style – also known as ‘the art of eight limbs’.
