Russell Brand‘s co-star Kristen Bell once said that she’d “lop his nuts off” if he ever “tried anything” with her on set.
Bell, 43, starred alongside Brand, 48, in the 2008 romantic comedy, Forgetting Sarah Marshall. The actress, who played the titular character Sarah Marshall, was the on-screen love interest of rock star Aldous Snow, played by the British actor.
While the film was filled with steamy scenes, Kristen was quick to make it clear where their relationship stood when the cameras stopped rolling. And an interview has resurfaced amid rape, sexual assault and abuse allegations against Brand, which he denies.

“I made it really clear from the beginning that I would sock him in the balls if he tried anything,” she said to the Daily Mail in 2010.
And her words of intimidation appeared to do the trick, as “he didn’t try to mess with me or get in my pants,” she said in a separate interview with the Scottish Daily Record. “He knew I would lop his nuts off.”
Kristen went on to reveal that she “loved” working alongside the Get Him to the Greek actor back in the late noughties.
Over the weekend, Brand was accused of rape, assault and emotional abuse between 2006 and 2013 by four women. The TV star was at the height of his fame at the time, working for the BBC, Channel 4 and starring in a number of Hollywood films.
The Metropolitan Police revealed that on Sunday (September 17) it received an allegation of a sexual assault in Soho, London, which took place in 2003.
Brand denied all allegations against him on Friday (September 15) prior to the investigation by The Sunday Times and Channel 4.
He released a YouTube video claiming there are “witnesses whose evidence directly contradicts the narratives” by the two media outlets making a “coordinated attack”.
