Lady Gaga’s “no-costume costume” at the Oscars “might not be accidental” says one body language expert.
The star took to the stage for a “raw” performance at the 2023 Oscars ceremony with a rendition of Hold My Hand from Top Gun: Maverick.
The star had arrived at the awards ceremony complete with full make-up and a revealing Versace gown that included a very low cut skirt but by the time she took to the stage she had ditched the makeup and outfit and wore jeans and a natural look.

Celebrity psychic and body language expert Inbaal Honigman has claimed that this look was “carefully orchestrated.”
She said: “Gaga’s no-costume costume might not be as accidental as it seems.
“Known for her commitment to an outfit, Lady Gaga came fully accessorised to her Oscars performance.
“Her black loose t-shirt and ripped jeans went perfectly with her casual French plait and make-up-free face.
“Matching all elements of her appearance as she always does, she crouches forward and emotes each powerful lyric, keeping her face focused and controlled and occasionally looking off stage.”
Inbaal explained that the performance had been as “carefully orchestrated as any other Gaga classic.” including her meat dress or coming in an egg and the star always pays “attention to detail.”
Lady Gaga was performing as a Live Music Bar Singer.
She continued: “Her hunched shoulders and back are typical of the Live Music scene, conveying a focus on the lyrics, with the music taking center stage, not the performer.
“Her hands punctuate many of the words in the song, and her head moves to the music, taking her audience on the journey of the song itself, and leaving the singer as a vessel for the song, not the other way around.
“During the powerful drumming, we are treated to some dance moves and jumping – Gaga is giving herself over to the part that she plays, and giving herself over to the music.”
As the star took to the stage she told the audience: “It’s deeply personal for me and I think that we all need each other, we need a lot of love to walk through this life.
“And we all need a hero sometimes, there’s heroes all around us. In unassuming places, but you might find that you can be your own hero, even if you feel broken inside.”
