Lizzo has hit back at hateful body shamers, branding herself a “work of art” and them “delusional” as she wowed in a bikini.
The Juice singer, 34, said that she just wants to exist without having to deal with endless comments about how she looks and her body.
The American star called out the haters for shaming people of her body shape, saying that they always have something to say – whether she’s too big, not big enough or somewhere in between.

Lizzo didn’t aim at anyone in particular, but shared her thoughts on Twitter, while also posing in a bikini.
In the video, Lizzo said: “The discourse around bodies is officially tired.
“I have seen comments go from ‘oh my gosh I liked you when you were thick, why did you lose weight?’ to ‘oh my gosh why did you get a BBL? I liked your body before’.
“To ‘oh my gosh you’re so big, you need to lose weight for your health’ to ‘oh my gosh you are so little, you need to get ass or titties’ to ‘oh my gosh, why did you get all that work done? It’s just too much work’.”
Strutting her stuff in a gorgeous marble-print bikini, she added: “Are we okay? Do you see the delusion? Do we realise that artists are not here to fit into your beauty standards? Artists are here to make art, and this body is art.
“I’m gonna do whatever I want, with this body.”
It wasn’t long before she was flooded with support from her adoring fans though.
One person said: “Hallelujah sis,” while someone else said: “This is why I love you.”
A third said: “You right, all this obsession over wrapping paper is silly. What we all need to work on is our inner selves, that’s our gift, it’s not the packaging.”
Lizzo has recently been showcasing her talent and entertaining thousands of fans on her tour, which stopped off in the UK.
She’s been busy with a new business too, as she recently announced another launch in her underwear brand Yitty.
Sharing the news before Trans Visibility Day, Lizzo explained that the new launch will include gender-affirming shapewear.
The Your Skin collection, set to be available later in the year, includes binders and tucking thongs suitable for non-binary or trans customers looking to feel more comfortable in their own bodies.
