ITV viewers reacted to an hilarious segment of Lorraine on Tuesday (September 12) after the Scottish presenter blurted out an expletive live on air.
After chatting to her actor turned musician guest, Damian Lewis, about the release of his new album, Mission Creep, the host then pressed him about TV series Billions – a show he has recently returned to after missing its previous series.
“Billions is on now, it’s happening,” said Lewis.

It prompted Lorraine to respond in reference of his character, Bobby Axelrod: “He’s horrible. Isn’t he horrible? You’re so good at doing a horrible person.”
Then, leaving Lorraine taken aback, Lewis added: “He is horrible yeah. It’s a show about a**eholes being a**eholes.”
And much to the surprise of viewers, rather than offering an apology for the word, Lorraine repeated immediately him, calmly declaring: “Yes, a**eholes being a**eholes”
It prompted a mixed reaction from viewers on X (formerly Twitter), meanwhile, with one user joking: “Ha haaa, didn’t quite expect #lorraine to blurt out ‘a**eholes’ this morning.”
Another simply pondered: “A**eholes? #Lorraine.”
A third asked: “Can you have three swears on daytime telly and not apologise? #lorraine.”
A fourth saw the funny side: “Loving that there has been no ‘apology for a naughty word’!”
And a fifth agreed: “Don’t apologise. I think there are far worse things in the world. #Lorraine.”
