Louise Redknapp puts on leggy display in tiny blazer as she reveals big career news

Ageless beauty Louise Redknapp looked nothing short of sensational as she announced her major new career move.

The 48-year-old music superstar first shot to fame in the 1990s as part of the R&B group Eternal.

Since then, she’s not stopped, having bagged eight UK top 10 solo singles, two platinum-selling albums and even a stint on Strictly Come Dancing in 2016 – reaching the final.

And now, the mum-of-two is set to appear on the West End in the smash hit musical adaption of Grease.

On Wednesday (March 29) Louise took to her Instagram to give fans a jaw-dropping first look at her transformation for her role as Teen Angel.

The singer-songwriter looked nothing short of sensational in the fabulous ensemble, consisting of a lilac satin blazer dress.

No stranger to flashing her skin, the silky blazer ended right below her waist, giving an eyeful of her long and toned legs.

She teamed the blazer with a pair of sizzling thigh-high boots that were adorned with silver jewels all over.

Posing for the camera, Louise wore her signature long honey locks tied up in a high ponytail and styled in a plait.

Finishing off the Teen Angel look, Louise slipped into a pair of huge purple wings.

“Meet… Teen Angel,” she wrote in the caption.

“I’m excited to be joining the West End cast of @greasewestend for a limited time at the Dominion Theatre from 2 June! Tickets available now xxx.”

As expected, plenty of Louise’s fans went wild in the comments section over her eye-popping ensemble.

“Definitely angelic,” gushed one follower, while another added: “You’re so gorgeous!”

Echoing their thoughts, someone else said: “Wow, what amazing legs you have.”

A fourth agreed: “Great legs!”

“Looks amazing Lou! Love the purple on you,” said a fifth smitten fan.

Louise’s upcoming stint on the West End isn’t the first time that she has starred in a hit musical.

In 2017, she made her stage debut as Sally Bowels in the nationwide tour of Cabaret.

Then two years later, she played Violet Newstead in Dolly Parton’s hugely popular, 9 to 5 The Musical.
