Love Island fans floored over ‘most brutal game in show history’ as chaos ensues

Love Island fans were living for the chaos thanks to the latest explosive challenge: Couples Goals.

The hit ITV2 dating show was back with a bang on Thursday night (July 20) – and it’s fair to say it delivered the drama.

The sexy singletons all took part in the Couples Goals challenge that saw the islanders get asked a series of question.

The couples then each wrote down who they think the question most applies to before all revealing their answers to the rest of the Villa.

Things were kicking off in the villa

And as the Islanders reveals their true feelings – things kicked off, and fans were loving it.

“That was probably the most brutal game in loveisland history,” fumed one person.

Another raged: “That was one of the best challenges so far, defo some serious tension in this villa.”

“Guuuyyysss this challenge is THE best one ever!!!!” Said someone else.

In the challenge Mitch suggests Abi and Scott are fake, and that they are only together because “he didn’t want Abi”.

Abi was not impressed with her fellow co-stars comments

Scott then hit back at took aim at Mitch, who struggled to find romance for the first half of the series.

He quipped: “The only reason none of us wanted to get to know Abi is because we felt sorry for you. You’ve been single for three weeks.”

Both Abi and Scott were the couple that were picked a few times for most of the negative statements – and they kept picking Mitch and Ella B.

Things got heated during the challenge

Tyrique made a dig at Scott and Abi too, claiming “at least he’s with someone he cares about” while Sammy then said Scott has a “don’t care mentality” about Abi.

Their co-stars also claimed Abi didn’t like Scott at first – while others suggested Scott hasn’t showed people that he likes Abi.

Later on, Scott revealed that his row with Mitch “crossed the line” and Abi admitted she felt that no couple had her back in the villa.

Love Island continues daily on ITV2 at 9pm.
