Love Island fans go wild as iconic challenge returns in epic first look trailer

Love Island fans are in for a treat on Monday night when the iconic talent show returns to the villa.

On Sunday night (March 5), it was revealed at the end of the explosive argument-filled episode that the fun segment would return the following night.

In the trailer that aired at 10pm, farmer Will Young could be seen dressed as a gangster, while Samie Elishi could be seen looking completely shocked while wearing a red suit and hat.

Fans went wild when they learned of the exciting episode looming, with many taking to Twitter to rejoice – although some seemed a little deflated at the sight of no drama.

Taking to Twitter when the news was announced, one fan penned: “They do this every year, the villa all falls out and has arguments then the talent show happens and they all laugh and make up then take a cute selfie,” which referred to the explosive rows that have been going on.

“YES TALENT SHOW!!! Who can’t play their musical instrument this year???” rejoiced a second.

While a third said: “Yessss I love the talent show. Bring on the Millie and Indiyah memes,” which hinted at when Millie played the piano and Indiyah played the recorder.

But some fans were expecting drama in the first look teaser trailer, especially after Ron Hall clashed with Rosie Seabrook, before he was called out for his “game-plan”.

One fan fumed: “Sorry I wanted to see Ron kick off not see a talent show tomorrow wtf.”

“Ron’s livid and you’re doing up previews for talent show? Ok then…” added a second.

While a third penned: “The tomorrow night preview is some garbage. Producers know that’s not what we wanted a glimpse of from tomorrow night.”

Towards the end of Sunday night’s episode, Ron could be seen saying that he was ready to “flip” after finding out about people talking about his “game plan”.

Although the teaser trailer didn’t hint at any drama unfolding off the back of Ron’s drama, that’s not to say that arguments won’t happen before the talent show takes place.

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX, with Unseen Bits on Saturdays and Aftersun at 10pm on Sundays.
