Love Island’s Spencer Wilks has revealed he was able to have access to his phone for a short time before heading in the villa.
Spencer joined Love Island on day 10, but just before he headed in the villa he was able to get a feel for what the public were thinking of his fellow islanders.

Speaking to Daily Star, Spencer confessed that after seeing what the public thought of Jessie, he also thought she could have been faking her feelings.
He said: “I think Jessie had a really hard rap with everyone saying she’s fake. I kind of went in with the thought that she might be a bit fake – but she is one of the kindest and most genuine people in there.
“She would wash up everyone’s dishes and plates and cups without even thinking about it. She’d always bring people food or do the coffees, she’s genuinely one of the nicest people in there. She’s just selfless.”
Spencer said Jessie is one of his “favourite people in there”.
When quizzed on whether he’d seen comments suggesting Jessie was fake, Spencer added: “I saw a little bit because I had my phone for a couple of days, but then I got that taken away and I had to get ready for the villa.”
Spencer entered the villa a mere three days after Jessie and was told just 24-hours before he was heading in that he needed to pack a bag.
The star was already staying with his chaperone out in South Africa and was sight-seeing, but that soon paused after he found out he was heading to find love.
He said: “My chaperone got a call from the producers and just said, ‘You’re going in tomorrow, pack your suitcase,’ so we had to be ready.
“It was so surreal, it was an amazing feeling.”
Spencer went in the villa with Ellie Spence, who was dumped just days after Spencer’s exit on day 19.
Since his exit he’s continued to share support for his fellow islanders, adding that the two he’s backing to take the win include Tom Clare and Samie Elishi and Will Young and Jessie Wynter.
The Love Island final will air on Monday, March 13 at 9pm on ITV2.
