Love Island has transformed ordinary individuals into overnight sensations, and some past Islanders loved the villa so much that they’ve hinted at making an epic return to the sun.

While not all islanders find their perfect match during their respective seasons, some former stars have openly expressed their willingness to give the process another shot.

Gym hunk Adam Collard became the first ex-Islander to get another shot at love in the villa last year, where he struck up a romance with his now-ex Paige Thorne.

Daily Star has rounded up the former stars who could make a sensational comeback to the show.

Megan Barton Hanson

In 2018, bombshell Megan Barton Hanson set the Love Island villa ablaze with drama and glamour in equal measure.

The explosive moments that unfolded as she stole singer Wes Nelson from Laura Anderson made for unforgettable television.

While Megan has pursued relationships with girls and guys outside the villa since then, she recently revealed that she would only consider returning if a significant change were made.

During a speech at the Cambridge University Union Debating Society, Megan passionately expressed her desire for a dedicated gay season of Love Island.

She emphasized the need for proper representation, stating: “I feel like we need a whole gay series. If you’re going to do it, do it properly. I mean, I’d definitely go back on there if there’s a gay season!”

Megan recently teased fans that she’d come back as she simply wrote an eyes emoji when asked by a fan if she wanted to do another round in the sun.

Fans also thought her latest bikini video looked a lot like an Love Island entrance – as did Adam Collard who wrote in the comments: “Thought this was a Love Island walk-in.”

Samira Mighty

Love Island 2018 alum Samira Mighty suggested she might be gearing up for a sensational comeback.

The singer experienced a rollercoaster of emotions during her 2018 stint, but she’s eager to give the process another whirl.

Despite her decision to leave the show prematurely after finding a promising connection with Frankie Froster, Samira’s love for it hasn’t fizzled out.

She revealed to The Sun: “I’m single, [so] if they did an All Stars version, I would definitely return. I would go back if bosses asked me. I think it would be hilarious.”

Samira, now 27, also reflected on her past Love Island experience, saying: “I was so young when I first did [Love Island]. I was 22, and now I’m 27 and know exactly what I want.”

Kem, who has presented Love Island’s Morning After podcast, has revealed his desire to experience it all “one more time.”

Speaking to OK! He said: “I get a little bit jealous sometimes, though!

“I want to get back in there just one more time. My days are gone, though. I can’t get my abs back any more!”

Asked about the advice he would offer to the new wave of Islanders, the former barber emphasizes the futility of entering with a game plan.

Instead, he encourages them to simply “enjoy it and relax.”

Liberty Poole

Liberty Poole, who stunned us in 2021, is also teasing a potential return.

While she initially believed she had found true love with Jake Cornish, the former Nando’s waitress made the courageous decision to end their relationship just days before the final.

Despite her dramatic departure, Liberty recently revealed to Radio Times that she would be open to participating in the rumored All Stars edition of the show, which would throw show legends together.

She said: “I actually would go into an All Stars to be fair. Obviously, it’s a new villa, so it might have been even more weird if it was the villa from last year.

“But yeah, I would love to go back. I wish I was back for sure.”

Amy Hart

Adam Collard

Adam Collard, the fitness guru who became a household name through Love Island, hasn’t ruled out the possibility of returning to the villa for a third stint.

He continued, “I have to be honest, there was a point where I genuinely thought Paige was the one, but things change when you leave the villa. It’s even more challenging when you’ve been on the show twice.”

Ovie Soko

With the revelation of the new cast for Love Island, eager fans are already speculating whether former Islander Ovie Soko will make a comeback.

And if the desires of the new female contestants hold any sway, the stud might just be the one to grace the fire pit once again.

Former islanders Lana Jenkins and Anna-May Robey have openly expressed their hopes of seeing the charismatic 31-year-old basketball player return to the villa.

Lana confessed her admiration, saying: “I really fancy Ovie. Ovie was the best, Ovie was top tier.”

Meanwhile, Anna-May disclosed her own preference, stating: “If I had to fancy any of the boys from the previous series, it would be Ovie.

“I fancied Ovie when he was on, and Luca [Bish] and Jacques [O’Neill] from the last season. I wouldn’t mind if any of them stepped in,” the Welsh lass eagerly confessed.
