Love Island's first dumped stars now – racy bikini snaps, transformation and cook books

When it first aired in 2015, no one had any idea how huge ITV’s hit dating show, Love Island could become.

In season one, audiences met their first bunch of crazy, sex-crazed singletons who entered the villa in the hopes of finding true love – and a healthy sum of money in their bank accounts should they go on to win.

Since then, the show has gone on to hit multiple goals, including becoming the most watched show on the ITV hub with 250 million streams and one of the nation’s the most talked-about reality TV show.

Twintastic Manchester-duo, John and Tony Alberti were unlucky in love when they joined the first ever series of Love Island.

Nicknamed, Double Trouble, the boys claimed that the girls on the show “weren’t their type” and they didn’t push to get to know any of them.

“We didn’t fancy the girls, they weren’t really our type that we go for. That’s why we didn’t push on with some of them as well,” they told The Mirror. “Personality counts for a lot and some of those girls didn’t have any personality.”

Now the duo share their traditional Italian recipes that have been passed down through generations in on their website.

Kendall Rae Knight

Despite only spending six days in the villa, Kendall Knight pulled at viewers heart strings when she revealed that before going on the show she’d only recently been dumped by her ex-fiancee.

She told the Sun at the time that she planned on heading into the villa to “move on” from her ex.

“It’s not that I’m not over my ex, but compared to everyone else maybe I found it a little bit harder because I’m not used to dating,” she admitted. “I wanted to do this show because I believe it is my time to move on from my ex and start a fresh.”

Since her time on the show, Kendall has gone on to enjoy travelling the world with her new beau, footballer Andrew Hughes.

Season three contestant Harley Judge looks unrecognisable after he quit fame following his Love Island stint.

The 27-year-old, who now works as an online body coach, has seriously bulked up since appearing on the dating show.

Harley regularly updates his 136,000 followers about his health and fitness journey and in one post, explained that how he managed to transform himself in five years.

He said: “I pursued my passion for bodybuilding and I’ve not looked back since – it opened up so many opportunities and I’ve made the most progress I ever have in the last five years.”

Harley continued: “Physically I gained 30kg of muscle, mentally I’m happier with a much better mindset, I now have a successful business and career I love, I have travelled and competed in multiple countries. I have a beautiful girlfriend, with a house and two dogs.

Eve Gale

When Love Island introduced their second set of twins to the show, no one expected them to be as hot as blonde bombshell’s Eve and Jess Gale.

The stunning sisters appeared on the first ever Winter series in 2020, with Jess pairing with Ched Uzor and making it to fourth place, while Eve, who initially stole Callum Jones from Shaughna Phillips, was dumped on day six after failing to re-couple.

Jess and Eve have remained a duo as they conquer the social media world and regularly post fiery lingerie snaps. Eve recently celebrated having launched a line with lingerie brand Nikki Intimates.

Shannon Singh

Love Island fans were shocked when Shannon Singh was kicked out after just 24 hours in the villa, becoming the quickest islander to be dumped from the island.

Despite her swift exit, Shannon has remained in the public eye, posting sizzling snaps OnlyFans and discussing “unusual or taboo topics in a completely judgement free zone” via her new podcast Hushed.

The 24-year-old recently revealed that she is a “very sexual” person and will often stop off at service stations to have sex with her boyfriend Ben during long drives.

“Me and Ben will have a long drive from London to Scotland and we will stop at the service stations and spark it up,” she revealed.

“It’s not to the point that it’s the only intimacy we have, but I know I have a really high sex drive so I need it.”

Javi Shepherd

Javi was the first to be dumped from Love Island in 2016 after he struggled to form a connection with the girls in the villa. However, before he left he struck up an argument with Scott Thomas after stabbing his “best buddy” in the back to get to know bombshell, Kady McDermott.

When his plans to woo Kady failed, Javi went as far as begging Zara Holland to couple up with him so he could stay in the show, but instead she chose Daniel Lukakis, meaning Javi was sent home early.

Since then, Javi has revealed that the drama in the villa was too much for him. He told Scott McGlynn: “I’m chilled in the real world, I meditate and love life! The pettiness and fake characters in there wasn’t what I wanted to experience.”

Last year he proposed to his new fiancée Amy and is a keen cyclist.

Afia Tonkmor

After appearing on the last series of Love Island, bombshell Afia Tonkmor, who entered the villa with 2022 winner, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, casually mentioned that she was ditching the UK for good after her TV stint.

Speaking to heat magazine she admitted that moving abroad to Bali was always in her plan before Love Island came about.

“I don’t have many plans but I’m moving to Bali … Now me and my friends are like ‘Ok now’s the time [to move]’. I feel like the UK right now is just not my vibe at this present moment in time,” Afia revealed.
