Love Island's Olivia Hawkins eyes up EastEnders role after stint on Albert Square

Love Island’s Olivia Hawkins has eyed up an EastEnders role after her little-known and very brief stint on Albert Square.

Olivia, 27, is the stunning brunette ring girl and actress who will be strutting her stuff into the Love Island villa on Monday (January 16).

Not only has Olivia worked as a model, but she has been a body double for Michelle Keegan on a TV show before.

But Michelle isn’t the only high-profiled celebrity she’s done doubling for.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star and other press ahead of her entry into the Love Island villa in South Africa on Monday, Olivia revealed who else she has been a body double for.

Keen on acting, Olivia was asked if she would be up for popping up in EastEnders – and she revealed that she kind of already has.

“I actually did doubling for Whitney [Dean] for one of the new year’s episodes,” she revealed, touching on Shona McGarty being an “amazing singer”.

“So yeah, that would be a very full circle moment to go on and be one of the characters, even if it was just a drop in,” she explained.

Eyeing up a role in EastEnders after her Love Island stint, Olivia revealed that she’d be up for taking on a role in soap.

Asked about which family she would like to join, or what kind of character she would be keen to play, Olivia gave a glimpse at what her EastEnders role might be like should she ever land one.

“I feel like I’d maybe just be a drop in. The girl from Sussex. I don’t do a great cockney accent,” she admitted.

In her promo video clip, Olivia says: “I’m 27 and I’ve never been in a relationship so I feel like now I’m really ready to settle down and hopefully find the love of my life.”

Love Island returns to ITV2 and ITVX on Monday, January 16 at 9pm
